I Bought A Garmin Gps And It’s Not Telling Me The Street Names.?

This model is suppose to, it did tell me them but then i changed the voice to british(i’m a guy lol) and i had it relocate me a few times. its the model 260W i believe.

Change the voice back to the original.
Announcing the street names only works with the computer-generated voices. They’re the only ones capable of generating the sounds you need for vocabulary (like street names) that are not prerecorded words or phrases in memory.

You’ll have to make absolutely sure it is that model. If it is, then make sure you have all the help files and other stuff installed. It’ll be on the CD it came with. If not, you can just download it from the Garmin website.
