Why Wont My Garmin Nuvi 200w Base Stick On My Dashboard ?

Hi i just bought a brand new Garmin Nuvi 200W and tried it out for the first time and everything went well.
I try it a second time and something happed to the stickey tape on the bottom of the dash board holder for the GPS because it wont stick at all now. It looks like a small circle of sticky tape on the base and after i used the GPS the first time i replaced the small circular cover that is supposed to protect the stick surface…….i removed the protective cover the 2′nd time i used the GPS base and it wont stick to the dashboard at all.
Does anyone know what i may have done wrong?

Do The Garmin Gps Units Need To Be Installed In Your Car, Or Are They Simply Mounted On The Dashboard?

They have both types, depending what you want to spend. The built-ins cost more after installation.
Where Should I Put My Garmin Gps System In My Car? I Know It Goes On The Dashboard But Where Is The Best Spot?
