Unfortunately, no.
I had the same problem – just replaced it with another. This time around we’re not leaving the mount or the power adapter visible. (Which puts a bullseye on your vehicle in the eyes of thieves.)

Hi there – new Garmin 265wt Nuvi … think its going to be cool, but I’ve noticed that it shuts down spontaneously – alot. Yesterday it was working then shut down and we missed our turns. wth? is this due to the device losing satellite contact (does cloud cover/inclement weather affect or drive this error?) Any thoughts appreciated, because this baby is going back to the store if it doesn’t work in bad weather or does this alot – thanks

They seem similar so I can anyone tell me which is better? Assume both are roughly the same price.
Also, although its use is primarily for auto-navigation, I’ll also be using it for light GeoCaching. Is it possible to input coordinates in either?

Why Does My Garmin Gps Send Me Down Back Roads That Are Totally Off The Wall, Especially On Long Trips?

When I take the 300 mile trip from where I live to my parents house I use my GPS to sort of be my little reminder for when to take the left split, right split or whatever, because I tend to zone out while i’m driving. The problem is, no matter how much I mess with the navigation settings, it tries to send me off the highway and on to the “back roads”.
