I’m buying it for my dad. This is his first gps system I wanted to know if the garmin nuvi 225w is a good gps for somone to easily learn how to use and have good features. what features does it have? The pack I want to get is the 2 vehicle/transfer pack it has suction mount and weight mount, carry case and some more stuff. The sale price of this gps is $269 is this a good deal?
Also how accurate is it? does it quickly get and keep signal?

I wanna get my parents a gps nagivator for christmas and I’ve heard that the Garmin Nuvi brand is the best on the market.
I work at target and this week they have a garmin on clearance for like $145, but I dont wanna get them something thats good and yet lacks a lot of useful and important features. I want to get them the best there is.
In your opinions, what is the best garmin nuvi model (and why)? And does anyone know of a site where you can compare and contrast models to find the perfect one?

I find that the Topo map supplied with my Garmin GPS are rather inadequate. It shows very few place names and the footpaths are bitty and incomplete. I am looking for a proper Os map, either 1:25000 or 1:50000. Can anyone help?
