Garmin Etrex Handheld Gps Navigator For Geocaching?

Hello, for any of you who know what geocaching is, do you know if this is a good GPS to use to search for caches?
There is a person that is selling it for $35. It has no batteries or cables but it comes with manual. Should I buy it?
Why Does Mapquest Seem To Have Better Routes Than My Garmin Nuvi Navigator?

I live in the Maryland suburbs of DC. When I drive to and from DC, Mapquest almost always has faster directions than my Garmin (except when the directions are the same).
Does Mapquest take stop signs and stop lights into account, while the nuvi doesn’t? The nuvi is great for finding an alternate route if a highway has a mess, but generally the routes into and from DC have taken considerably longer than expected.
Has anyone else seen similar results?

Verizon Vz Navigator Vs. Garmin Nuvi 260?

A road trip from PA to NC was cut short yesterday thanks to Verizon VZ Navigator. While driving through west virginia, I entered a non-digital coverage area on my cell phone and VZ Nav could no longer locate me. I was completely lost since I was only relying on the VZ Nav. When it happened I was in a wide open road on a farm.. nothing was blocking the satalite, which I thought as long as my phone had battery life, the GPS in it would read the satalite. well I had to backtrack a few miles til I got in digital area again and just used VZ Nav to get home. About an hour later, I went out and bought a Garmin nuvi 260 can canceled VZ Nav. My question is, will I ever have any kind of problem like that with my Garmin or will it work EVERYWHERE in the 48 states with a clear view of the sky?

I like the Magellan Maestro 4250 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator.
This is the first GPS I’ve owned or used, so I’m not speaking from experience. It worked GREAT on our trip from Vermont to HHI, South Carolina. The directions and POI’s served us very well. The screen helps folks in the back seat see what’s up. The AAA references work great, too. It generally responds well to our verbal commands. Two points on that, though: follow the directions (speak softly); and I wish you could program it to respond to custom commands.
The only reason I took one star away was because of the Bluetooth. It actually works with my PDA (Audiovox VX660), even though it’s not listed. Many phones aren’t listed. But the volume isn’t sufficient at highway speeds (even in a very quite Audi A6) and the connection between the phone and the GPS/Bluetooth has to be re-established every time you turn the unit back on, which is pretty lame. But otherwise, I recommend this unit to others.
Garmin Nuvi 200 Navigator?

I purchased a Garmin Nuvi 200 GPS navigator and love it. However something is going on with it and I don’t know if it is normal. When I first turn it on after having it off for a few hours it can take up to 5 minutes to acquire the satellite signals. My friend’s Garmin Street Pilot c330 acquires them instantly. Has anybody had the same experience with the Nuvi 200?
Vz Navigator Or Standalone Gps?

I have a Verizon Wireless cell phone and I have been paying the $10 a month extra for the VZ Navigator service. Im a installation technician and I use VZ Navigator almost everyday. I have thought about getting a standalone GPS but the problem I have is I would have to always carry it from my car to my work van and then back to my car everyday, since I could possibly use it for something else when at home. I also look at that I have given Verizon $300 so far for VZ Navigator where I could have bought a fairly nice GPS at that price. So Im just wanting to see what you guys would do if you were in my shoes. Also if I would get a standalone GPS what brand would be best a Garmin, TomTom or a Navigon. Is the Navigon street view that great like they make it sound? Thanks for the help.

I have nokia n95 8gb with the nokia maps usually come with every n95 8gb.
i have tried nokia maps with voice couple of times when i was travelling from one city to an other . but it is very slow u pass the road then it will tell you needed to turn.
can some one suggest me to use some other navigation software like tom tom, garmin or any others which works perfect at nokia n95 8gb and are free. please include the web address to download.
