This model is suppose to, it did tell me them but then i changed the voice to british(i’m a guy lol) and i had it relocate me a few times. its the model 260W i believe.

I’m looking for the easiest/cheapest way to get around South Korea using GPS. I have a Garmin 60CS, but the only S. Korea maps I can find are the low detail Worldmap ones. I want street level detail. Any suggestions?

no it doesn’t have the text to speech feature the 255 will have it. for 115 isn’t that bad of a deal.

My father owns a Garmin c340, we were playing with some of the settings and found that we could enable his device to audibly announce the street names during directions. In other words, while driving, it would say, “Turn left on Williams Street” instead of simply saying, “Turn left”. I was so impressed, I purchased a c530 because it offered more features. However, I can’t seem to get it to announce street names and can’t remember what we enabled on my fathers unit in the settings. I’m sure it’s possible, but I just can’t figure it out. I’ve updated the operating system and software from the Garmin webupdater, but was wondering if there was something else I need to download. Please help.
