Will My Garmin Nuvi 200 Work For Geocaching??

I asked for a GPS for my birthday so I can start geocaching but a friend of mine who has done geocaching for a long time said I got the wrong thing. There are so many settings it seems like there should be a way to make this thing work but I don’t really know where to start!

and it just will not pick up signal, my guess is that something between the gps and the antenna broke, and a wire or something simple needs fixing. if I could get inside the gps I would have a better chance at uncovering the problem, and possibly fixing it.
does anyone know of a guide, or a site, or just plain how to dissasemble the garmin nuvi 350?
any tips or ideas as to what else might fix this problem?

Garmin put out a press release that said they would support Mac OS X 10.4 When and how can I get Mapsource to work on my Mac?

You need to buy two. Garmin Upgrades are licensed per serial number. In North America, at least, you actually have to order two media kits as the license is included in the package.
I just went through this with a a collection of Garmins. The postman delivered an armful of packages.

Let someone borrow my Garmin nuvi and when they gave it back they left it outside… yea. I forgot about it and left there, and about 2 hours ago I remembered again. The problem is, its been outside in the rain for about 12 hours, screen side up. I shook the water out and I’m trying to air dry it with a fricken blow dryer! The screen looks fine, but will it ever turn on again?

The unit may not stop working but you battery capacity will be all screwed up or messed up.
Its small enough to carry it with you in the bag or suitcase. So that way you can keep it at good shape and avoid getting your car broken in (yes, my friend got his car broken in b/c someone saw the gps unit in his car)

I only got it recently so its pretty up to date, not sure if it will work outside of UK & Ireland, taking it on holidays to Croatia just to use as a walkabout tool.
